1 - GIVEBACK

Once we are in touch with and moving towards our own creativity and dreams, we have a greater connection with the Master Creator. The natural progression of this is to share our 'talents' with others. God created each and every one of us with some creative gift that He intended for us to share and use to reflect His love and purpose back to the world. The other critical thing to remember here is that all dreams originally come from God, so they can only become what they were created to be if we give them back to Him. If we keep them to ourselves or to benefit ourselves, we may derive some small joy simply from being in touch with that part of ourselves that we were meant to be. It is only in giving all of those dreams back to God that we actually begin to realize how big those dreams really can be and what our true purpose for living really is. Can you even imagine how big your dream or creative gift might could be if you had all the resources of the entire universe at your disposal? Well, that is what happens when you give the dream back to God, the Creator and Curator of all those resources under the sun, and ask Him what He would like you to do with that gift. It can become so much bigger than you that it might actually frighten you if you had thought of it originally - remember, God's vision is so much higher and bigger than our own.

2 - Giveback Quotes

“Attempt projects so big that they are bound to fail without God. Bob Pierce called it 'God room' - call it whatever you will, but let those projects be so big that you can't possibly humanly do them yourselves. God has to do them for you. It is then to his glory and not to ours or yours.” —Stan Mooneyham, World Vision President, 1969 - 1982.
